First Snow!
Just wanted to show a snap of our first serious snowfall. All the kids got out of school 2 hours early, and I got out of work 1 hour early! Snap taken at my work, which is a small home office where I do data entry / management. So yeah, after a very precarious 1.5 mile drive back (thankfully I live super close to the office), I shoveled out our driveway for my mom who isn't back yet, and then settled in for an afternoon of snow watching.
I've always seen snow, every winter, for my entire life. I wonder what it would be like not to have snow any time of the year. True, it is pretty inconvenient, but its so pretty! But a bitch to drive in, that's for sure.
Do you get snow where you live?

Lucky! I miss snow and winter so much! I am in California right now and its 55 degrees out. The coldest it will get is high 30's.
ReplyDeleteNot only does it snow here ;=; it's so cold, but I'm happy that I'm inside being all cozy and warm XD
ReplyDeleteYou have a very picturesque window, great photo :) The snow looks so pretty..
ReplyDeleteI'm in SoCal, but if I drive up a bit people can snowboard in a mix real snow/ice + fake snow :D
I'll join the troupe of commenters from (Southern) California. XD It doesn't snow here, but I wish it did. I like to live vicariously through bloggers like you though, lol. Pretty window!
ReplyDeleteWe've had about four straight days of snowstorms. I am jealous that you are enjoying snow.
ReplyDeleteKills off the insects I suppose.

ReplyDeleteit snowed around Thanksgiving this year, but it mainly just rains.
ReplyDeleteI'm in Georgia, so it usually doesn't snow here until February or march xD We had flurries the other day and it does get cold though! I wish we snow that pretty~
ReplyDeleteWe only get snow very rarely, so I'm kind of jealous. A light snowfall now and then can be nice.
ReplyDeleteLast year, we had a white out in the middle of December, and it was kind of scary to drive through. I've driven through snow, having lived in Missouri for university, but driving with a bunch of lunatic Houstonians (they're awful drivers in normal weather, never mind bad or unexpected) was kind of worrying.
The city had tow trucks out on patrol, and ambulances, firetrucks and the like standing by when the storm hit.
Luckily, there were surprisingly few accidents.
Snow is beautiful but only when you have nothing to do and nowhere to go.
ReplyDeleteI don't like snow, sure it looks nice, but it's too cold!
ReplyDeleteI don't have snow where I live now and I didn't have it back in Singapore either! Winter is always just rain and depression ;_;
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of jealous. I've never seen snow in my life XD I love the photo you took. Such a picturesque view!
